In 1938, amid the Great Depression, Richard Rea transformed adversity into opportunity. Furloughed from a Cleveland firm, he returned to New Philadelphia, Ohio, where he identified a crucial need: businesses lacked financial information for bank loans. His innovative solution—installing business accounting systems—laid the foundation for Rea & Associates.
From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a regional powerhouse and one of the Top 100 accounting firms nationally. Yet, our core remains unchanged: building enduring partnerships, fostering trust, and driving business success through experienced guidance and genuine relationships.
