How will this merger affect me?
Rea and Koontz & Parkin have had strong ties for years. This merger will elevate the experience and provide a more well-founded suite of services available to clients of Koontz & Parkin. That said, you will not notice much change in your day-to-day experience with either firm.
Will I still work with the same team?
Absolutely! The service team you’ve been accustomed to working with over the years will stay the same. Relationships are critical in this business, and we are committed to maintaining and reinforcing the trust you’ve placed in our firm and individual team members.
Will my rates go up?
Nope! This merger is about uniting our two firms for the purpose of providing our clients with access to a more robust service line and a highly regarded team of industry experts – not raising rates. You will see absolutely no negative changes in the service you currently receive, your fees or your service team.
How do I contact my advisor?
Even though the two firms have merged, all phone numbers and email addresses will remain the same. So you can continue to use the telephone numbers and email addresses you’ve always used.

Will members of the Koontz & Parkin team be moving?
Currently, the Koontz & Parkin office is located in Sarasota, Florida. It will not be moving.
How will the merger affect the name of the firm?
Koontz & Parkin will begin operating as Rea & Associates on June 1, 2024. Rea is currently going through a rebrand, which we are excited to share with you in November. Because of this upcoming change, our building signage will remain Koontz & Parkin until the rebrand launches later this year.
